Is the diffstat plugin a dead project?

I ask because there hasn't been any change to it since mid 2006, and I'd
have thought there'd be a lot more that this plugin could do, such as
add --stat support to other commands like log and diff.

diffstat is one of the things that I do like about git: it would be nice
to get comparable functionality in bzr; and this plugin seems to have
already covered most of the work.

Hmm, just tried to actually use it an it bailed on me with an
ImportError exception. I'm sure it was working for me not long back. Is
it completely unmaintained now?
