OK, it sounds as though things are under control vis a vis the dbus
stuff. Except that I am still wondering why this only affects the
repository on which I tried to have a post-commit email sent. I am
fairly confident I have unwound what I did and yet it still has this
error. Is there perhaps some caching of information from the
branch.conf file that could perhaps be providing "memory" of the
attempt?
