This is a great document - well done.

Requested tweaks attached as a patch. 90% of these are simple
punctuation/grammar issues. I think it is also worth linking this into
the relevant doc catalog (doc/developers/index.txt).
Content wise, I think you ought to also cover - in a later version - the
admin side of things: install, configuration, logging, upgrades, etc.
For example, if the C++ DLL needs upgrading from one release to the
next, will that require a Windows reboot? If so, let's make stabilising
its code early an explicit goal, make that DLL as data-driven as we can,
include an API hook within it to reload its config data, etc. You should
also explicitly say where config settings will be stored (an ini file,
the registry, other?), how logging will be enabled/disabled/reset, etc.
