Well, many people are starting to use this, specially in IDE
integration, so if this is already being used, it should be included
in the developer docs.
Personally, I find incomplete docs much better than nothing at all,
and having discussed this in the sprint with Ian, we agreed that it
would be good to have this.
Any reason why these assumptions are wrong?

Not sure this is necessarily a problem. It might me easier for someone
new to understand it using both terms.
Of course, it would be great if you would cleanup/add to the doc  :)
