To me, this was exactly the kind of document that belonged on the wiki--
a collaborative, utterly incomplete, just-the-basics document.  I think
it hasn't had enough time maturing in the wiki.  For instance, the

If we do add it to the docs
1. Please use a 79-character maximum line length
2. Remove all Moin-isms such as #!python
3. Remove AaronBentley and similar wiki-style links
