qbzr is pretty obvious on both respects; I tried to get bzr-gtk
installed but gave up quickly.

Luckily, all these tasks are pretty easy through a few registry keys +
qbzr. The only thing we lack are the explorer icon overlays, and I'm
not sure they are worth destabilizing & bloating the system, even from
political/manager appeal perspective.

Indeed that's pretty fine, and easy to do as well.
