[MERGE] * New method ``next_with_ghosts`` on the Graph breadth-first-search objects

This adds a next_with_ghosts call to graph breadth first searchers which
will allow me to fix my fetch code. I've tweaked the searcher code so
that there is no duplication by doing this, and the new api is safe to
use sporadically - it won't break next().
