[Ping][Merge][#111665] bzr rm should remove clean subtrees

Hi cores (except aaron:),

although this patch has been labelled 'approved' by BB,
I'd like one of you to review and hopefully merge it
(Alexander is on leave, and I don't really count my approve vote).
I know theres a long backlog, but I thought maybe the status hides it from
your 'My Pending' pages.
