[MERGE] Remove a spurious call to 'get_master_branch()'

Comment:
The traceback is logged when you supply '-Dhpss'. So that you know what 
stack caused us to create a new connection.

I'm okay with taking it out, though I think it is useful to at least 
mutter() when you have to connect.

Also, these are only written to ~/.bzr.log, and only when you supply 
-Dhpss.

But I'm willing to take it out as: "it isn't generally useful, even 
though it was really useful in *this* case".
