[wishlist] is it possible to have flag for no-recurse status and diff?

You are more optimistic than me.  I find WorkingTree4.iter_changes
almost completely opaque.

I think perhaps we should bring back the specific_file_ids parameter to
iter_changes.  If you're specifying individual files, file_ids are a
more precise way to do that.
