Apologies if that came across as "behind closed doors". It wasn't meant
to and it isn't. For the record, I spoke to Martin about this on the
phone a day or two back and convinced him that an online form was worth
considering. I have also inquired inside Canonical about whether paying
the $200/year would be OK. (Someone needs to pay for it if we go that
route.)

No decisions will be made without community input and support. The
reason I put the web page up was to gather those things. If anyone has
input on this topic, please don't hesitate to speak up.
