I don't contribute much code to the project, so I would be able to spend
time with my whistle and Border Collie without the project losing out in
that respect.

I do have a couple of commitments around the time the next release is
due, but if I was chosen then we could come up with a timetable where I
was free to do this. Also we are approaching the peak holiday period in
many places, and I don't know how much this will affect the availability
of others. Perhaps we would want to push the release back a little if
people would like a little more time to work on things if they are away.
