ERROR: No final name for trans_id?

Ok, I just tied to update to current bzr-.dev (2617) but when I
went to install it I got:

    running build_ext
    building 'bzrlib._knit_load_data_c' extension
    creating build/temp.linux-i686-2.5
    creating build/temp.linux-i686-2.5/bzrlib
    gcc -pthread -fno-strict-aliasing -DNDEBUG -g -O2 -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes
        -fPIC -I/usr/include/python2.5 -c bzrlib/_knit_load_data_c.c 
        -o build/temp.linux-i686-2.5/bzrlib/_knit_load_data_c.o
    gcc: bzrlib/_knit_load_data_c.c: No such file or directory
    gcc: no input files
    error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1

The command "find . -name _knit_load_data_c.c" turns up nothing.

I now have a broken bzr. How do I get back to a working bzr?
