[PATCH] Checkout into existing directory

Hello there,

It would be nice if Bzr allowed checkouts into existing directories
(the target directory doesn't necessarily have to be empty, but it
must not contain Bzr metainfo directory ".bzr").

This functionality is needed to facilitate interfacing Bzr with
external developer tools, for example, to enable users to right-click
on a directory to trigger "bzr checkout" or "bzr switch" operations.
Additionally, it would provide symmetry with "bzr init" operation that
doesn't mind when existing directories are given as targets.
