That is correct.
I'd hoped you'd remember - it was originally your code!
It came from the time we were looking at solutions for bzr log <file>
- - and it is easier to check why a revision is included if you have the
verbose log for all revisions, not just the mainline.
As Aaron has mentioned, it makes verbose REALLY verbose, but I only
expect verbose to be used a small set of revisions, most likely
selected either with -r or <file>.

Nuts. I don't recall seeing a test for --verbose in the mainline log
to use as a baseline.
I'll add it to my list of things to do.
