No.

The revno is an identifier of the latest revision in your branch.  It's
a simple count of how many times commits have been performed in that
branch.  It does not include merges or uncommitted revisions.

The value produced by "check" is a count of all the revisions that are
stored.  This includes merges, and it also includes revisions that are
unused, like uncommitted revisions or revisions that were merged and
then reverted.
