more ideas:
* branch-store
* store

In botany <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Botany>, *trunk* refers to the main
structural member of a tree <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tree> that is
supported by and directly attached to the
roots<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Root>and which in turn supports the
branches <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Branch>. The trunk is also often
called the *bole*.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trunk_%28botany%29

* trunk
   (as it is the parent of branches, but I know of coarse it could be
misleading for svn users)

* bole
   bole (botany) <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bole_%28botany%29>, that part
of the trunk of a tree beneath the point where branching commences.

* vault
   strong metal cabinet, usually fireproof and burglarproof, for the storage
and safekeeping of valuables, important papers, etc.
