[MERGE] Remove timing dependent tests

I just ran across this for the XFAIL test reporting:

FAIL: test_selftest.TestTestResult.test_verbose_report_known_failure

    not equal:
a = ['XFAIL                   2ms', '    foo']
b = ['XFAIL                   0ms', '    foo']

Obviously we don't care about the number, just that it is a number.

We also had an earlier failure which I'm finally pushing through a patch.
