I violently agree. I can't find a single diagram in any of the documents 
we distribute with Bazaar. By way of contrast, see the list of figures 
in the Hg book: http://hgbook.red-bean.com/hgbookli2.html#x3-2000.

I'm not suggesting the Hg book is a great document by any means. But 
explaining VCS *well* does require a few pictures/diagrams IMO, 
distributed VCS even more so.
