IIRC, it was able to apply the entire history of baz, going back to the
fileutils days.  It complained vociferously about Arch inconsistencies,
but aside from file permissions, those pretty much died down around Arch
1.2.

The idea of turning changesets directly into knits is just too pretty
for me to let go of, but I'm doing TDD and I won't merge anything that
doesn't produce the same results as baz-import.
