Well, it does set a cookie when you submit the survey. But it didn't
take very long to submit.

As Aaron mentioned, Canonical didn't have a proprietary thing that they
made open source. Neither Ubuntu or Bazaar started that way.

Instead, Canonical adopted an already open source project, and provided
company support for it. Reading through the survey, the questions still
seem relevant, but you should be aware of the difference.

The one project that is proprietary at Canonical is Launchpad. And I
believe they are open sourcing parts of it, such as Rosetta (the
internationalization package). However, I don't know if any actual
pieces have been open sourced at this point.
