plans for 0.9 release plans

I'd like to try for a new bzr release within the next week.  (Say by the
17th of July.)  We have accumulated a good list of feature, fix, and
performance improvements and it's time to get them out.

Let's make a list of things that must be done before we can release.
The focus should be on things that are either high-priority bugs, or
unintentional regressions from previous behaviour, or things that will
be hard to support in the future.

 * Change in default ignores - should the previous defaults be used if
   there are no per-user ignores; also how to accomodate applications
   depending on the default ignore symbol

 * Is the bundle format stable and finished enough that we can commit to
   supporting it in future versions?

 * What bugs are untriaged, or so severe that they need to be fixed for
   this release?

To discuss these in detail please start or join a different thread, so
people can find them later.
