0.8 release plans

I would like to see metadir renamed to metaweave, see this thread:

And would like my new info stuff in, as it makes the construct the
user used explicit in info output. The naming is not very consistent
now.

If you want I can cherrypick the new naming from my info branch, and
move the rest to 0.8.1 (the locking status).
