correcting a commit log

Hi,

Here is a minor case but if there is a workaround I would be interested
to know it.

Let's say I commited with a log such as "chapter 5 clean" (I work on a
book typesetting). An hour later I, it is now chapter 6 that is clean.
But I'm tired, and I write a wrong commit log : "chapter 5 clean"
(again).

Is it possible to edit a commit log to correct it in such a case ?
