Couple of years now ;). Its never been private in fact. Canonical
occasionally has some small skew when stuff is done urgently that might
regress other-vcs-support temporarily.

Indeed. We have code for doing a bunch of stuff for the launchpad code
base we are planning on open sourcing, but I'm not sure where that
process is up to :[.
