I think this means that the contract of compare_tree is being
misunderstood my various people [myself included at one point]. Perhaps
we can make it clearer, and add an api for 'compare_revision' or some
such that will include all the metadata in the deltas. I.e. the revision
changed, the properties that changed, the last-modification revision id
on files and dirs etc etc etc.
