Eh, no it doesn't.  I forgot to verify the dir on the server before
pressing "Send".  It turns out that the gul/ target directory was
created, but never populated.

$ BZR_DEBUG=1 ~/Projects/Bazaar/bzr.dev/bzr push sftp://crash@vmlinux.org/home/crash/public_html/bzr/gul
bzr: ERROR: Channel request for unknown channel 1
bzr: ERROR: Channel request for unknown channel 1
bzr: ERROR: Channel request for unknown channel 1
