So do I. My discussion with Gustavo revolved around whether we should do
executable bit support before or after the GUT :). I strongly suspect
there is enough commonality to break down what we deal with into user
properties, intrinsic properties etc, and merge can deal with those
sets.
I'm strongly inclined to defer that though, until we've got things like
weave merge well integrated, as that will provide a bunch of information
on how different merge logic needs to access such things.
