I remember you mentioning it, where was the branch? I don't know if you
ever saw my extended testing set for Transport objects. It is at a lower
level than a remote branch (but then again, I do spawn an http server to
make sure we are testing truly remote branches).

I did find that, and hopefully added a couple of pointers to my work.

PS> Has anyone noticed that with the current mainline (revno 1197) the
time it takes to "bzr pull" takes a lot longer than it used to? It is
now spending a lot of time in "comparing histories". I wonder if some of
the new greedy code spends a lot of time checking history across the
slow http link.
