FYI, the way ClearCase manages imports is to have many many different
VSS/CVS/etc-export scripts that all produce the same intermediate
language. The intermediate language is then read in by a single
clearimport script.

For instance, on a set of CVS modules, I could run the export script
separately for each module (pointing it at the same intermediate files
each time -- this was so the export script would use the same ClearCase
label each time it found the same CVS label name in different modules).
