Hi Martin,

Please merge aaron.bentley at utoronto.ca--baz/bazaar-ng--smallstuff--0

It detects the case where the user specifies a non-existent branch path,
instead of recursing up until it finds a root that the user did not
intend to specify.

Previously, where "bzr" is a tree root and "bzr/tests" is a tree-root,
if the user specified "bzr/testss", it would find "bzr" as the
tree-root.  With this change, it will throw an exception instead.

It improves handling of symlinks for "add" and "status", allowing
symlinks to be skipped for "add .", and causing "status" to display
symlinks with -> as their suffix.
