I'm happy to report that after a long, productive discussion on the
upstream mailing list, followed by a long, productive review process
on Salsa (thanks Jamie!), a changeset was merged into Debian+Ubuntu's
Vcs-Git, that moves the cache to /var/cache/apparmor. It should be
part of the upcoming apparmor 2.13-7 upload.
