I need to check where the kt is in the SRU cycle but its a minimum of 3 weeks and as many 5 weeks to get a patch through. The cycle is 3 weeks, and if you miss the window you wait for the next one.

I could setup a ppa build of the kernel, though I don't really find that any better than messing with manual debs
