My appologies, looking at it I didn't update the repo url in the Makefile,
so even though I did the release from a clean 2.7 branch it, it pulled
from the dev branch.

As Christian says do NOT use the 2.7.1 tarball pointed at in this release.
I will work on getting a new tarball out for tomorrow.
