Review: Variety (Updated Package)

Hello Bhavani,

Here is the newest Variety 0.4.15 - can you please upload it for 12.04,
12.10 and 13.04. Thanks.

Also, can you please give me some tips and guidelines on these questions:
What is the procedure to make Variety a normal program, part of Ubuntu,
installed in the usual locations (e.g. /usr/bin, /usr/share/, etc.) instead
of under /opt/?
What are the procedures to include it in universe repository (not in
extras)? What about "main" repository?

I understand these are way too general, but some general info + links to
material to read would be helpful.
