Looks like I got the go-ahead from python Trademarks committee to use
the logo in unity-lens-pypi!

This is correct and the opinion of the Trademarks Committee.  I had not
seen the logo apart from its presence in the hard to discern video prior to
your email today, and cannot find it attached previously in my email
archive.  But looking at that right now confirms that the shape is
nominative use.
