Hi David,

I am very glad to be in touch with Ubuntu team. You guys are doing a
great job :).

I ran "dput ppa:prasannatsmkumar/ppa
share-updates_1.0-1_source.changes" and it uploaded the packages but I
did not see any update in my PPA. I also tried "dput
ppa:prasannatsmkumar/share-ubuntu-updates
share-updates_1.0-1_source.changes" (I replaced prasannatsmkumar/ppa
with prasannatsmkumar/share-ubuntu-updates as it is my application
name and tried). Both did not work out.

Today I have uploaded the packages again using the command "dput
ppa:prasannatsmkumar/ppa share-updates_1.0-1_source.changes". I hope
the command is correct as it is described in
https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA/Uploading. No errors
reported. So I think things went well. Hope the package will be
created and available in PPA in some time. (There was no error
previously but there was no deb in PPA :( ).

It will be great if you could provide some help on the following:
1. The application I created is working in Ubuntu 11.10 and 12.04. But
my main development machine has only Ubuntu 11.10 and I am uploading
the package from here. Will the PPA be created for 12.04 also? I could
not see any option to set this as of now. If this does not work out I
will re-upload it from another machine having Ubuntu 12.04. Please let
me know. My application uses only Qt (libqt4-gui is the main
dependency) library.

2. Running "quickly package" does not work. If I start the command I
could see some progress (some dots appear in terminal screen) and
after that nothing happens. I waited for more than one hour but
nothing happened. Is there any way to resolve this? One of the main
reasons for me not to use quickly is this (I did not find time to sort
out the issue and I was too lazy - sorry).

Please let me know the steps that I have to take if my PPA not gets
updated with .deb files (I am asking this specifically because it did
not show up in last attempt).
