Free Software apps in Precise

Hey all,

In MyApps all Oneiric commercial apps were copied over to Precise a
while ago, and I've been asked a few times when this is going to happen
for Free Software apps as well, so I'm forwarding the question here.

It would be especially interesting for several reasons:

- We're 2 days away from release, which is when most people start
upgrading and downloading apps for 12.04
- We're currently promoting the AskUbuntu Lens as a banner in the
Software Centre (Oneiric, Precise) and on apps.ubuntu.com. We've
disabled the banner in the USC for Precise, as it it not available
there, but it would be nice to have a 12.04 version and promote it
amongst users with the latest Ubuntu version.

Dave Morley has been doing most of the copying and tweaking work to
upgrade the commercial apps from Oneiric to Precise, and he'll be more
than happy to offer advice for Free Software apps migration.

I thought it would be worth a discussion on the list, has anyone got
suggestions for Precise migration plans?

Btw, it's not only nice to see ARB apps [1] in apps.ubuntu.com, but also
the nice reviews, so good work to all of you! ;-)

Cheers,
David.
