      - After conversion made by Logan:
          ~ Added DEB_BUILD_MAINT_OPTIONS variable to improve the GCC hardening.
          ~ Added DEB_LDFLAGS_MAINT_APPEND variable to avoid unneeded linking
            against libraries.

    - Convert to dh sequencer.
