The only way that I can get 24.04 to boot with the 6.8 linux
image is the boot into safe mode and then select "resume boot"
from the safe mode menu. This then takes me to the login box
twice. This works mostly but the system does drop back to the
login box at random times.</span></p>

frustrated me so much that have reinstalled 23.10 beside 24.04.
24.04.1 may fix the problem.</span></p>
