I see others have had the same issue - I read both posts. Removing
and installing network-manager-openvpn did not solve my problem. I
still do not see the VPN chooser.<br>

FWIW, I previously looked at Private Internet Access for a solution,
including opening a ticket. This includes installation of their
relatively new app to control VPN activation. No luck.<br>

I think this is a bug.<br>

option to choose a VPN connections. Left-click ONLY
gives me a list that includes Ethernet connections, one
in this case, "Wired connection 1," as well as VPN
