On Thursday Wily will be released.<br>
<br>
Currently we are testing the Release Candidate. <br>
<br>
If you are expecting to be upgrading to Wily - and don't forget
that Vivid is only supported until January - then doing so now <br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>helps Xubuntu</li>
<li>you miss the rush at the end of the week and the 'is it out
yet' question<br>
</li>
</ul>
<br>
We report install and upgrade tests so that *we* know the state of
play.<br>
<br>
As it stands now, we have 1 report of an issue with swap creation.
2 further issues bug <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gvfs/+bug/1495943">1495943</a>
and <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xdg-utils/+bug/1497170">149170</a>
are present on the current build, but an upgrade after install
sees them both fixed. We expect the image to be rebuilt in the
next day or so at which point they should have gone. <br>
<br>
Further information can be seen on the <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://wiki.ubuntu.com/WilyWerewolf/FinalRelease/Xubuntu">DRAFT</a>
release note - this changes as we see issues reported, both for us
specifically and generally for any issues in all the flavours.<br>

Iso's have been rebuilt already, I'm expecting one to happen for a
debian-installer and ubiquity fix globally.<br>
<br>
In addition *we* will be rebuilding ourselves when we see a fix for
catfish land.<br>
<br>
So for iso's go to <br>
<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/">http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/</a><br>
<br>
Find the Xubuntu entries at the bottom, choose 32 or 64 bit - once
you are at that page - download information is available<br>

you have upgraded or installed then update as you would normally
do, and you will have the release.<br>
