For me the whole thing looks like a Ubuntu 14.10 and/or 64bit problem.<br>

I'm not sure if this is the same problem or a very similar one, but after yesterday's update if I click a link in Thunderbird, the correct browser (FF) opens but not the specific page on the link, just a default home page (in my case <a href="http://google.co.uk" target="_blank">google.co.uk</a>) opens.<br>

Thoughts on if this is worth a bug report or is there a config file somewhere that I can manipulate?<br>
