I wish I could pause the process as it progresses because when the process is visible I can definitely see a list of ‘successful’ steps and at least one ‘fail’ before the screen goes black. Actually, for an instant before it goes black and stays that way, there is a flash of scrambled colour in a narrow band across the screen.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>I tried Ctrl+Alt+F1 at several places in the process (re-starting for each) but had no success at getting to a login prompt.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:#1F497D'>According to my notes from attempts done several days ago, though, at one point in one attempt I got the message “You are leaving the graphical boot menu and starting the text mode interface.” However, I can’t seem to replicate this using the steps I took as written down before.
