Correct, the Alternate for Xubuntu has been discontinued.<br>

Irecently set up my desktop with RAID, and used the Minimal CD:<br>

This is a tiny iso (30M) which downloads everything you need while you<br>
are installing. After setting everything up (users, disk<br>
configuration, etc) there is a screen you get to which allows you to<br>
select what you wish to install, so you'd want to select "Xubuntu<br>
desktop" there from the list.<br>
