a GUI disk manager that provides a LOT of info. Also known as
"Disk Utility" on the "Settings" menu. Just be careful as it is
easy to mess up a perfectly good install if you mess with
partitions. Palimpsest is not always installed by default

Hi everyone,

I was wondering why GParted is not included on the 'Live'
Media? LiveCD or LiveUSB of Xubuntu?

I am one of those who highly use GParted and I use it to
plan my partitions before any installation. I know I can
install it on the Live Mode but I am just curious why it is
not there? other flavours have it by default AFAIK but of
course, after installing the system, it is not included :)
Sorry if this is an old topic, was just curious and looking
for some answers :)
Many thanks!
