(10.04). I can use it for ordinary "user" things but can't
manage to get Office Libre to load (it *downloaded* OK!) onto
the machine and the error messages don't use words memorable

They have a mailing list - which might be helpful to join - you're
likely to find more locality specific answers that way.<br>

You could also try a web search for a LUG (Linux User Group) closer
to where you are. I had a quick look for NE England and there only
appears to be 2 - with nothing much going on for 3 or 4 years, but
it's likely the main site is out of date. <br>
