I'll encourage users to use xfce4-terminal instead of a file browse.<br>
Perhaps not everybody is aware about the features terminal emulations do<br>
provide, such as auto completion for commands and paths by the tab-key,<br>
scrolling through the command history by the cursor keys, using aliases<br>
and even writing a wrapper as a shell script can be done by noobs.<br>

I installed rodent "Lightweight, yet full of options file manager,<br>
compatible with console commands", but never used it, perhaps this is<br>
useful for transition from using file browsers to terminal usage.<br>
<br>
Using the terminal isn't for nerds or people who want to be cool only,<br>
it's really easier, it only seems to be harder, since people likely are<br>
accustomed to use file browsers.<br>

</div>Such things can happen, if something has a bug or upstream folks have<br>
strange worldviews. No user is able to remember such crap: If x then<br>
drag and drop behaves like p, if y then drag and drop behaves like q.<br>
When using the terminal everything usually works as expected, the great<br>
advantage of an operating system that isn't locked and that does provide<br>
a terminal.<br>
