Folks, today I wen to burn my first dvd using xubuntu12.04 and after it, I went to check if the data was ok. I noticed that Xubuntu didn't mount the disc nor reported any errors. Trying the same disc with a USB recorder of mine, in the same laptop, the disc worked just fine. Looking up in some forums, I was advised to run the comand "<b>dmesg | grep "sr0"</b>" and the output was:<div>
