Thanks! I'll poke around to see if there's a way I can get Jupiter to not display these annoying bubbles or at least make them disappear after a seconds. The Jupiter tray icon doesn't offer anything in the way of such configuration. I'll check to see if there are some command line switches or maybe file a bug report against it.

> Message: 3
> Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2012 01:48:07 +0000
> From: "chaitanya" <cvg1.cool.man@gmail.com>
> To: "Xubuntu Support and User Discussions"
> <xubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com>
> Subject: Re: [xubuntu-users] Strange notifications on startup
> Message-ID:
> <5704369-1344908887-cardhu_decombobulator_blackberry.rim.net-858335114-@b15.c6.bise7.blackberry>
>
> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"
>
> Its the notifications of 'Jupiter' program.
> ------Original Message------
> From: Scott Moore
> Sender: xubuntu-users-bounces@lists.ubuntu.com
> To: xubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com
> ReplyTo: Xubuntu Support and User Discussions
> Subject: [xubuntu-users] Strange notifications on startup
> Sent: 13 Aug 2012 23:05
>
> I'm guessing this was caused by some recent updates (I have no idea which)
> but every time I boot up the laptop (Lenovo T60) I get 2 notifications
> bubbles in the top right of the screen that won't go away until I click
> them.
